Psy Ward (Vox, Piano, Rhy guit), Steve Paris(Lead Guit, B.Vox)
ENCY(Bass, B.Vox) and Phill Ward (Percussion, B.Vox) make up the
compelling entity.
LiViD is an energetic, passionate, colourful band whose music
incorporates some of the best elements of 70s hard rock and 80s metal to
produce a rare blend of powerful vocals that soar over sizzling solos,
heady guitar grooves and rockin’ melodies.
With 9 years experience together as a band and over four years
recording with their in-house engineer (formerly of Ocean Way Studios ,
LA) their ability to produce quality recordings quickly is unmatched,
both the previous EP “Rock Harder” and its predecessor "When I'm Steamin'
Windows" were recorded over a period of only three days each.
After mastering "When I'm Steaming Windows", the late Chris Blair
(Abbey Road) stated he was "amazed this is an unsigned band, it's so
professional."
With an ever increasing catalogue of over 70 songs, their own
recording studios and an impressive arsenal of vintage guitars, amps and
drums, there is no doubt that LiViD take their craft seriously.
2009 sees the band hit the ground running, with their debut Album
‘One’ available from May 4th and released under their very own Lost Lady
Records.
With all this in mind, it really is time for the one hit wonder bands
to step aside and let LiViD take the stand, as they have what it takes
to be around for a very long time.
